The Name of the Game
During the first Capcom-Unity Monster Hunter World live stream from E3, Capcom-Unity's Manager, Yuri Araujo, spoke to series producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, and talked about what the name "Monster Hunter World" really means.
Here's what he had to say.
- This is not a spin-off title, it is a main series entry.
- Broadcasts the first-ever global release in all regions.
- The use of global servers, cross-region multiplayer.
- A world with a living-breathing ecosystem.
It has been said that during the early development of this game, it was actually called Monster Hunter 5, but the development team felt World sounded much better for what this game will bring.
